Nina’s House

A house within a house, a room within a room. Nina’s House, designed by Dave Keune, was created as a separate space for a newborn without having to renovate or move home.

The mini house has a crib/playpen, storage and baby changing table. The chest of drawers open with a soft push of the knee so that both hands can still be free while changing the baby.Cut-out windows enable parents to keep a close eye and the roof opens with folding slats connected flexibly by bright yellow ropes.

The house adapts as the baby grows older. Underneath, the house rests on two wheels allowing tit to be moved easily. It is easily disassembled back into a flatpack for easy transport or storage.
