Faces by Miller Goodman

Miller goodman have recently launched their new book called "Faces". This inspiring and imaginative book explores creative ways of making faces, using printing, collage, geometric shapes and sculpture. There are surprising details revealed by lifting flaps, looking through holes or turning the book upside-down. "Faces" also offers an insight into  modern art movements. The book's designers reference key artists, including Alexander Calder, Joan Miro, and Eduardo Paolozzi as well as graphic designers of the 1950s and '60s. Available from Miller Goodman

It was great having a stand next Shell Thomas at East London design show this year. Shell is a product and furniture designer who I first saw showing Reggie the eco rocker at Tent London last year. View reggie and Shell's other work here

I came across these funny pegs by Mr nico at the Renegade craft fair in London a few months ago. Love them.... They will be at the Sunday up market in Brick lane this weekend.

Make do & draw

I met some very talented designers and makers in the craft area at East London design show this year. Geraldine and Laura are the design duo behind Make do & draw. The  fantastic scale model of an east London terrace is their design beacon.  The designers constructed a dolls house during the course of the show. They take commissions to build scale models of peoples homes.
